The face behind the camera…

Hello! I'm Hannah and I'm a videographer based in Dubai filming wedding stories all over the UAE as well as destination weddings abroad. In a nutshell, I’m a bit quirky, I laugh a lot and am always the one who takes photos of anything and everything.

Everything I do, I do it with all my heart. I've always been a hopeless romantic , so it's no surprise that I found my calling in documenting love stories. There's something truly enchanting about witnessing two people madly in love, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to capture those moments and turn them into cinematic masterpieces.

When I'm not busy capturing the magic of couples tying the knot, you will either find me snuggled up on the couch with a good book, chasing sunsets for that perfect golden hour shot or jet-setting off to a new country ready to explore. I'm all about embracing life's little joys and finding inspiration in the everyday moments.

I believe the mundane is magical

I was born in Botswana to globe-trotting parents and grew up in far-flung countries around the world (Ghana, Mongolia & Bahrain to name a few), surrounded by diverse cultures, alternative histories and amazing landscapes. I remember exploring with my family, learning about new cultures and running round wild. It fostered my love of the environment and I studied Geography at university (but my camera was never far!) and I even spent two months researching coral reefs in Madagascar!

My first camera was a little green point-and-shoot which I took everywhere. From leaves to random pedestrians passing by or minute details in the architecture of a building, I would capture everything. It’s the intangible, extraordinary and fleeting moments, the smallest things that you may not even notice – these are the ones I’m always looking for. I naturally fell into videography, teaching myself through trial and error. But it wasn’t until I started vlogging my travels and daily life that I really fell in love with video. The camera became the medium for me to really see the world. To take in all of its beauty. To explore.

After university and a few of months at a desk job, I knew it wasn’t for me and that I needed to do something more creative. I had already been toying with the idea of being a videographer and decided to jump in feet first. I started as a second shooter at weddings and photographing friends and family - learning how to craft cinematic, meaningful films. I soon made my way to Dubai as a professional videographer and manager of a small team of creatives, then one day, I decided to take the leap and set up on my own! I am so lucky to be doing something I love every single day and each of the 70 or so weddings I've captured to date has been incredible.
